To help you determine if warranty service is required on a technical issue you are experiencing, please follow the four-step Warranty process below:
STEP 1: SEARCH THE AMD CUSTOMER CARE KNOWLEDGEBASE
When experiencing a technical issue please visit our Online Support Knowledgebase to find answers to your questions prior to requesting warranty service. Please note that over 80% of the video cards returned to AMD for Warranty Service are tested functional.
AMD recommends that you have the latest drivers to optimize the performance of your product. These are available from our Graphics Drivers & Software page.
Note! Here is a list of examples that likely DO NOT require warranty service.
System restarts to a black screen after installation.
Random system hangs.
Game or Application performance.
STEP 2: CHECK IF THE PRODUCT IS ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY SERVICE
Check for the Standard Warranty Period (also located in your product manual)
Check that your product is a Retail-Packaged* "BUILT-BY ATI"
Note! OEM, Partner and System Builder products (eg. DELL, Sapphire, Connect3D) are not eligible for Warranty Service from AMD.
STEP 3: OBTAIN REQUIRED INFORMATION
Please collect the following information which will be required to process the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) form:
Product Serial Number (white sticker located on the front/back of your AMD graphics card)
Product Part Number (begins with 102, white sticker located on the front/back of your AMD graphics card)
Contact Information (name, address, phone number and email)
STEP 4: PROCEED WITH AMD RETURN MATERIALS AUTHORIZATION (RMA) PROCESS
