Fixed Issues

    • Dishonored™2 may experience an application crash or hang on some Radeon R9 380 configurations.
    • Radeon ReLive may show an improper warning popup message when using Windows®7 basic themes.
    • AMD XConnect™ Technology configurations may experience a blue screen system hang when audio drivers load.
    • Solidworks™ will no longer terminate on unplug using AMD XConnect™ Technology configurations.
    • Some system configurations may experience a black screen after installing Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Editions 16.12.1 and later.
    • Display corruption or TDR may be experienced after applications wake up from a display timeout.
    • Paragon™ may experience flickering in Multi GPU with DirectX®11.
    • Radeon ReLive may crash or become unresponsive when toggling Multi GPU with Desktop Recording and/or Instant Replay enabled.

Known Issues

    • A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync™ technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background.
    • Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft™ may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync™ technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue.
    • Shadow Warrior 2™ may experience an application hang when launched with Multi GPU enabled.
    • Radeon RX 400 series products may experience scaling issues for some applications when using the display scaling feature.
    • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™ may experience an application hang when running in Multi GPU with DirectX®12 and performing a task switch.
    • AMD Multi GPU configurations may experience a system hang or reboot during install when using tiled MST 4K or 5K displays.
    • Mouse cursor corruption may be intermittently experienced on Radeon RX 480.

Known Issues for Radeon ReLive

    • The XBOX™ DVR application may cause conflicts with Radeon ReLive, users are suggested to disable XBOX™ DVR if Radeon ReLive is experiencing issues.
    • Radeon ReLive may fail to install on AMD APU Family products or experience a system hang or failure to record when using the recording feature on AMD APU Family products.
    • Radeon ReLive may stop working after hot unplugging of a secondary display.
    • Battlefield™1 may experience UI flickering and/or performance drops when recording gameplay with Radeon ReLive on graphics products with 4GB or less of VRAM.
    • Radeon ReLive recordings or overlay may experience flicker when creating a single recording for many hours.
    • Radeon ReLive may experience minor graphical corruption for the first few recorded frames when launching UWP applications.
    • Radeon ReLive will not allow recording settings to change with Instant Replay enabled. A workaround is to disable Instant Replay and change settings then enable Instant Replay.
    • Vulkan™ applications may experience a game hang when using Radeon ReLive to record.
    • Radeon ReLive will not notify an end user of low disk space during recording.

Known Issues

    • A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the AMD Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved "In Game Overlay".
    • Disabling AMD Crossfire mode on Radeon™ RX 480 in Radeon Settings may disable the device in Windows Device Manager or cause a system hang. A workaround is to reboot the system to re-enable the device.

    • Fallout 4 - Foliage/water may ripple/stutter when game is launched in High/Ultra settings mode
    • Fallout 4 - Thumbnails may flicker or disappear while scrolling the Perk levels page
    • FRTC options are displayed on some unsupported laptop configurations with Intel CPU's and AMD GPU's
    • Radeon Settings may sometimes fails to launch with a "Context Creation Error" message
    • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ - Corruption can be observed at some locations during gameplay
    • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ - Flickering may be experienced at various game locations when the game is left idle in AMD Crossfire™  mode under Windows 7
    • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ - Game may intermittently crash or hang when launched with very high settings and AA is set to SMAA at 4K resolution
    • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ - Lara Croft's hair may flicker in some locations if the Esc key is pressed
    • The AMD Overdrive™  memory clock slider does not show original clock values if memory speeds are overclocked
    • World of Warcraft runs extremely slowly in quad crossfire at high resolutions

Known Issues

    • A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved "In Game Overlay"
    • Star Wars™: Battlefront - Corrupted ground textures may be observed in the Survival of Hoth mission
    • Cannot enable AMD Crossfire with some dual GPU AMD Radeon HD 59xx and HD 79xx series products
    • Fallout 4 - In game stutter may be experienced if the game is launched with AMD Crossfire enabled
    • XCOM 2 - Flickering textures may be experienced at various game locations
    • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ - The game may randomly crash on launch if Tessellation is enabled

  1. Testing conducted by AMD Performance Labs on October 26, 2015 using a HP Pavilion DM1 with AMD E-350 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics, 3GB (1GB+2GB) DDR3, Windows 10 64bit. With AMD Catalyst 15.8, the system took 8 seconds on average to load the control panel (AMD Catalyst Control Center). With Radeon Software Crimson Edition, the system took 0.6 seconds on average to load the control panel (Radeon Settings).
  2. AMD Internal Lab testing as of Nov 2, 2015 with an Intel Core i7 5960X with 2x8GB DDR4-2666 MHz memory, Gigabyte X99-UD4, AMD Radeon™ R9 380, Windows 10 64bit. PC manufacturers may vary configurations yielding different results.   • AMD Eyefinity technology is designed to give gamers access to high display resolutions. As pixel count grows, the graphics "horsepower" required to drive the displays at a reasonable frame rate can increase dramatically.
