A) What AMD graphics products are supported with this product?

B) Why can’t I configure my displays in Extended Mode?
Please refer to your Dell monitor’s owner manual for instruction for enabling DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport (MST) capabilities on your Dell monitor.

By default the Dell monitors are not enabled with this feature.

  1. In the monitor’s on screen menu (OSD), navigate to “Other Settings”
  2. Change the setting for “DisplayPort 1.2” to Enable
  3. Confirm the selection

You may need to reconnect the DisplayPort cable after making this change.


C) I’m still having some trouble with the displays connected on the chain.
It is recommended to use the DisplayPort cables included with your Dell monitors. The DisplayPort 1.2 Specification included optional support for higher bandwidths. The use of an incompatible DisplayPort cable may prevent the monitors from operating correctly.

D) Can I daisy-chain two or more of these Dell Monitors together?
Yes. You can chain up to a set number of monitors. This set number depends on the resolution, timings, and refresh rate of the connected displays. Please refer to this article for additional details.


E) Does the last monitor in the chain need to support DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport?
No, the last monitor in the chain can does not need to support DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport (MST). It will still need to fit within the set number of per chain. Refer to "Can I daisy-chain two or more of these Dell Monitors together" above.
