ATI Eyefinity  Resolutions

  • ATI Eyefinity modes not accessible by any means
  • Support available for 1x3 and 2x3
  • ATI Eyefinity resolutions available on connected display array in both landscape and portrait modes
  • Automatically detects ATI Eyefinity resolutions and allows in-game selection/change via game options menu
  • Application will present and allow user to select bezel corrected resolutions in addition  to standard ATI Eyefinity modes (upcoming feature)

Field of View (FOV)

  • Significant reduction in vertical FOV when compared to single panel
  • FOV is not correctable by any means
  • Supports a manual FOV adjustment (if not automatically detected and  resolved by horizontal resolution)
  • Automatically adjusts FOV to a correct level for the connected panel array
  • Some minor stretching may be acceptable 

Aspect Ratio

  • On screen objects are significantly distorted in either the X or Y direction in ATI Eyefinity Single Large Surface (SLS) modes
  • Circles appear as ovals and squares are rendered as rectangles
  • Detects and supports extremely wide aspect ratios including 3 and 6 panel SLS resolutions i.e. 2560x1600 x 3 panel Landscape = 7660x1600 or 4.8:1
  • Aspect ration can be corrected to match the array of displays either automatically or manually by user
  • Aspect ration corrected automatically to match the array of displays
  • FOV automatically corrected based upon selected resolutions and connected panel array dimensions

Visual Elements

  • Menus or portions of menus are rendered off-screen
  • Menu items are not selectable by the user in ATI Eyefinity resolutions
  • Heads Up Display (HUD) elements or portions of HUD elements are not rendered within the viewable area
  • Dialog boxes do not appear within the viewable area
  • Significant portions of game-critical cut scenes are not displayed within the viewable area
  • Targeting reticule (crosshair) does not appear or is corrupted in ATI Eyefinity modes
  • All in-game menus, dialog boxes, HUD elements and other visual content fully displayed in the connected panel array
  • Rendered cut-scenes displayed correctly on connected panel array without cropping or distorting of the content
  • Video cut-scenes displayed correctly on connected panel array without cropping or distorting of the content
  • Cut scenes centered upon the center screen if not properly spanning the complete ATI Eyefinity array
  • Targeting reticule placed within the field of view without distortion or stretching
  • All in-game menus, dialog boxes and other visual content fully displayed in popular ATI Eyefinity panel arrays (1x3 and 2x3 in both landscape and portrait mode)
  • In-game menus do not span across more than 2 displays
  • Rendered and video cut-scenes displayed correctly on connected panel array without cropping or distorting of the content
  • Targeting reticule/HUD correctly centered on center panel in 3x1 modes
