Definition:
ATI CrossFireX™ technology enables two or more discrete graphics processors to work together to improve system performance. It allows the ability to scale the system’s graphics horsepower as needed, supporting up to four ATI Radeon™ HD graphics cards.
Supported Applications:
ATI CrossFireX™ technology is only supported for full screen Direct3D or OpenGL accelerated applications on compatible ATI Radeon™ graphics accelerators. Windowed or cloned applications will only be accelerated by single GPU ATI Radeon™ graphics accelerators.
