RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances):

AMD documents compliance with both EU and China RoHS regulations:

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of CHemicals)

The EU REACH law establishes a list of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) that is updated twice per year.

Halogen-Free

AMD also a supplier of ‘low-halogen’ or ‘halogen-free’ parts which some customers define as each homogenous material having:
  • [Br] < 900 ppm,
  • [Cl] < 900 ppm, and
  • [Br] + [Cl] < 1,500 ppm.

MDDS (Material Declaration Data Sheets)

For CPUs, GPUs, and ASIC devices, AMD can provide information regarding the chemical substance content of our products.
These MDDS meet or exceed Joint Industry Group standards. Examples are provided below:
